Each range is best suited to different skin conditions.

Our Enzyme range is most beneficial for people with oily, blemished and/or problematic skin.

Our Native range is most beneficial for people with dry and/or dehydrated skin.

Our Botanical range is most beneficial for people with sensitive, stressed and/or delicate

Our Essentials range suits all skin types.

Today we want to walk you through the key ingredients found in our  Enzyme, Native, Botanical and Essentials range, why we use them and how they work on the skin.

Hyaluronic Acid (Active range)

Hyaluronic Acid is naturally produced by our bodies. As we age, our body begins to produce less and less of it, resulting in the skin becoming dehydrated and wrinkled. This is why many products aimed at people with mature and ageing skin contain Hyaluronic Acid.

Hyaluronic Acid helps the skin look plump, smooth, hydrated, firm and ‘elastic’. It also has antibacterial properties, helps to protect the skin from environmental exposure, aids in water retention and encourages skin cell renewal.

Although we say that our Active range (of which Hyaluronic Acid is the key ingredient) is most suited to those with mature and ageing skin, the ingredient is suitable for all skin types. It’s antibacterial properties also make it beneficial for those with sensitive and acne prone skin. Given it’s lightweight properties, it also makes a great moisturiser for those with oily skin.

Papaya (Enzyme range)

Papaya (yes, the fruit!) has exfoliating, repairing and hydrating properties. It reduces wrinkles, regulates collagen production, evens skin tone, removes dead skin and provides hydration.

It is rich in Vitamin A, B, C and antioxidants, which help to fight off the effects of environmental damage and ageing. A lot of natural products you find on the market that contain papaya (or papain as it’s sometimes called), are marketed to as exfoliants and blemish treatments (thanks to its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties).

This ingredient offers those with oily and problematic skin an opportunity to rejuvenate and refresh. It’s also great for those with ageing skin (thanks to its high antioxidant content).

Kakadu Plum (Native range)

The Kakadu Plum is a native superfood that comes from Northern Australia. It has antiseptic properties; is full of antioxidants, minerals and vitamins (in fact, it contains more than 50 times the amount of Vitamin C found in oranges!); detoxes the skin and fades scarring.

The high levels of Vitamin C found in the Kakadu Plum feed and nourish the skin, reduce the likelihood of blemishes, refresh, provide hydration and improve elasticity. It is for this reason that we include Kakadu Plum in our Native range and recommend it for those with dry and dehydrated skin.

The Kakadu Plum is suited to all skin types though, and it’s antibacterial and medicinal properties make it healing for those with oily, blemished and problematic skin and nourishing for those with dry and ageing skin.

Jacaranda (Botanical range)

Did you know that the flowers of the beautiful Jacaranda tree have potent healing properties? They are antibacterial, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, help in the treatment of skin conditions like psoriasis, condition, firm and plump (just to name a few of the benefits!)

We suggest the Jacaranda Plant (and thus the products in our Botanical range) for people with sensitive, stressed and/or delicate skin, due to its gentle, soothing and healing properties.
